Beyond Surface Solutions have earned their stripes after 40 years

Refinishing supplies company B.S. Supplies has undergone an extensive rebrand to align with its continued growth.

Newly renamed as Beyond Surface Solutions, the company has rapidly become a national brand in the refinishing materials industry.

The family business is celebrating its 40thyear and has marked it with a vibrant, modern new logo which represents the wide-ranging colour offering the company is already famed for, as well as a sophisticated and stylish website.

The new website is a far cry from the previous one which didn’t represent where the company sat in the industry. The new brand showcases the vibrancy, professionalism and huge offering the company proudly boasts.

Beyond Surface Solutions has grown and adapted with the marketplace as it has continued to change. Beginning life specialising in replacement car body panels, the family business has evolved and expanded to offer refinishing supplies across a multitude of sectors.

The company was founded by husband and wife Michael and Phyliss O’Reilly who sold it to their son Paul in 2001. Paul commented: “This is an exciting period of growth for us. The business may be 40 but it is still in its infancy in terms of where it’s heading.

“A key milestone for the business came in 2016 when I sold shares to International Applications Ltd. We knew we had to let go of some aspects of the business in order to let it grow. It’s now a completely different business to what it was three years ago and it’s continuing to evolve.”

Beyond Surface Solutions has expanded its markets beyond automotive, and now targets the industrial and commercial coatings market sectors. The company now works with equipment, rail, agricultural and capital equipment and glass industries.
