Brian Pupdate: training is a success

We’re so excited to update you this month on our Guide Dog puppy Brian. The last few weeks have been busy with his first training report card!

So far, Brian has learnt many valuable skills including basic obedience and behaviour to prepare him for life as a working guide dog. He has been dedicated to his training and we’re so proud of all the progress he’s making.

Training to be a guide dog requires lots of hard work, but we’re pleased to announce his training has been a triumph. Brian’s report card from the Puppy Training Supervisor clearly shows just how well he’s doing.

Brian’s four-month review shows how keen he is to learn and is always eager to please. He mixes well with the other dogs, travels well in the car and loves going on long bus journeys. He will hopefully get to increase the number of day trips out and about as the months go on.

The report card states: “He is outgoing, confident and is a wonderful problem-solver.”

Even though Brian has only been training for a short space of time, he has come on leaps and bounds. As a family-run business, we’re passionate about helping this charity assist those who are visually impaired.

We hope Brian continues to excel in his training and will one day make a difference in somebody’s life so they can navigate situations or obstacles they normally wouldn’t be able to.

Remember to check back next month to see how Brian is progressing on his journey, we’ll continue to share lots of “pupdates” and photos as he grows!
