Introducing Hilda the Super Pup!

Last year we announced we’d be taking part in the Guide Dogs’ charity, Name a Puppy scheme after we reached our fundraising target of £5000.

We’re now delighted to share the great news that our sponsored Guide Dog, Hilda has now officially joined the training scheme after being born on 6 November 2020.

Named in honour of Managing Director Paul’s grandmother, Hilda is at the start of a very exciting journey. We can’t wait to share her progress with you as she blooms from an uncoordinated bundle of fluff and into a responsible and loving guide dog.

We’ll be receiving Hilda’s first ‘pupdate’ when she’s around 12 weeks old (not long to wait now) and we’ll be pulling the proud parent card as we tell you what she’s been up to and how she’s getting on.

To mark the naming of our VIP (Very Important Puppy) Hilda, the Guide Dog’s namesake, will be entered into the charity’s Online Memorial Book where all the names of those remembered by donations to the charity can be found.

Raising awareness and support for those with sight impairment is particularly important for us at bss as we have personal experience with it.

In the UK, every hour, a person loses their sight, and we want to help make their world a little happier by supporting the incredible work the Guide Dog charity does.
