The 3M Perfect-It Foam Compounding Pad (150mm) is a high-performance, aggressive green foam pad used in automotive paint correction to remove heavy defects like sand scratches, oxidation, and deep swirl marks, acting as a key component in the 3M Perfect-It Paint Finishing System, designed for use with fast-cutting compounds and modern rotary or random orbital polishers to achieve a high-gloss, show-room finish.

Foam Design: Less lint than wool pads, durable, and designed for modern hard clear coats.

Use Case: Used after scratch refinement to remove the scratches left by coarser abrasives, often with 3M Fast-Cut Compound.
How It Works (in the system):
Compound Application: A small amount of rubbing compound (like 3M Fast Cut Plus) is applied.
Compounding: The pad, with medium pressure at 1200-2000 RPM, makes overlapping passes to remove defects.
Light Pressure: Light pressure then works the residual compound into the pad.
Inspection: The surface is checked for scratch removal, with compounding repeated if needed before moving to finer polishing steps.
Delivery:
We send all orders with the courier on a next day service.
Cut off time for same day dispatch is 2pm.
Please supply a mobile number to assist the courier.
The courier will attempt delivery twice, after this you may be charged an addition fee.
All goods will require a signature on delivery.
Please ensure someone is available to receive the delivery.

Returns:
We offer a 30 day money back return policy on all goods returned in unused condition and original packaging. unfortunatly we can not offer refunds or exchange on mixed colours or aerosols to order.
Upon receipt of your item we will check the item and notifiy you if we are able to process a refund by phone or email within 3 working days.
Once we have despatched your goods (or if you have collected them), you can return them for a full refund (including standard delivery charges) within 30 days of delivery (or collection) without giving a reason, as long as they are with their original packaging and unused. You will be responsible for returning the goods to us (and have to pay any costs involved) and we are allowed to reduce your refund if there is any damage to the goods caused by you handling them. We will make all refunds to the credit card, debit card or PayPal account used to place your order and we will pay you within 14 days of us receiving the goods or proof that you have sent them back to us.
